Taters & Tires

Even though this event was titled, Taters & Tires, a more apt title might have been “Taters & Towers.” We explored ways to prepare the #1 vegetable crop in the world and looked at numerous practical, efficient and affordable methods – mostly “tower style” –  any of us might use to grow much of our own food.

Using their wide range of experience, facilitators and Meadowcreek residents, Debbie Hermansen, Suzanne Day and Missy Brown, provided workshop participants with practical and efficient ways to get the best tasting and most nutritional benefits from one of our most basic and available foods.
