Ingredients:
- 1 can of beans
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- Optional: 2 tsp. lemon juice
- Optional: ¼ cup parsley or cilantro
Puree in blender or food processor. Use as a dip or to spread on tortillas and bake for a healthy snack.
Options:
- Top with cheese, sour cream and/or avocado.
- Add chopped hot peppers or tomatoes.
Side Note: When kids come home from school, they love to get a flour tortilla and spread it with beans and top it with cheese. Add another flour tortilla on top and heat in skillet or bake in oven to melt cheese. Cut into wedges and enjoy a tasty and healthy snack.
