Meadowcreek LINKPROJECT welcomes Tim and Aliza Cummings

THE GATHERING PLACE AT MEADOWCREEK

We are excited to welcome Aliza and Tim Cummings as Meadowcreek’s newest residents! Filled with spirit, passion and experience, Aliza and Tim are well-equipped to continue the LinkProject’s mission of linking local foods and local folks.

Aliza and Tim have relocated their certified naturally grown farm, The Gathering Place, from Jacksonville, Alabama, where they grew a large variety of heirloom and traditional vegetables, along with an array of culinary and medicinal herbs. They also carried many value-added products made from all they grew on their farm such as: Herbal Oils, Spices, Soaps, Teas, Cold Formulas, Essential Oil, Extracts, Tinctures, Herbal Soups, Tonics, Chutney, Pesto and much more. Their desire is to “do our part in supplying the best natural products possible to give the body its highest potential for healing.”

Tim and Aliza like to say they are a work in progress. They love to learn and teach as evidenced by their two beginning farmer students, Becky and Jennifer,  who have accompanied them to the Valley. Tim and Aliza will offer “on the job” trainings at their farm, The Gathering Place at Meadowcreek, as well as at their herb shop. They’ll begin with their first Medicinal Herb Survival weekend May 31st-June 1, 2014 and follow that with Canning 101, Herb Processing and Growing Naturally & Sustainably which dates will soon be announced.

Tim and Aliza encourage everyone to “get to know your farmer!” They invite you to call and make an appointment at 870-363-4227 or email them at gatheringherbs@gmail.com.
