If you’ve been wanting to create a marketable product from one or more of your favorite recipes, we’re here to support you!
Watch for announcements of our upcoming LINK Local Heritage Foods Workshops that will be offered in May.
And, to get a good start on raising produce for your recipes, don’t miss the Ozark Seed Swap at the Ozark Folk Center on February 18, 2012 from 1P-4P! This is the fifth annual Ozark Seed Swap, co-sponsored by the University of Central Arkansas at Conway’s organization, CAAH! (Conserving Arkansas’s Agricultural Heritage). Arkansas farmers and gardeners have a legacy of heirloom seeds that are in danger of being lost. Sharing of seeds will encourage production of diverse varieties for posterity and more sustainable food production. See http://www.meadowcreeklink.com/ozark-folk-center-cold-frame-workshop/ for more information.
